Mechlab , organized by the Sant'Ambrogio Institute of Milan (CNOS-FAP Opere Salesiane) is a significant event that marks a new step forward in theintegration of school and the world of work: This project, designed for students in the mechanical sector of theTechnical Technological Institute and Vocational Training, represents a synergy between school, training and industry, with the active participation of 15 companies in the area including Unilock.

The MechLab involved students in an experiential training course that will last until the end of May. Partner companies offered challenges and innovative projects in the mechanical and mechatronic fields, which the students developed under their guidance. The goal is twofold: on the one hand, to offer students the opportunity to work on real projects, increasing technical skills and soft skills; on the other hand, to allow companies to discover and train young talents, reducing the gap between the educational and professional worlds.

The project will culminate on May 27, 2025 with a day open to the public where students, together with partner companies, will present the results of their work. This moment will be an opportunity to demonstrate how technical education can be an engine of innovation and a tool to enhance the creativity of young people.

Unilock is a company that has always been attentive to developing the skills of new recruits destined to work in mechanical manufacturing. With this project it further consolidates its synergy with Istituto Sant'Ambrogio, a school of excellence in the Milan area, providing a training experience to three students who developed a path ( and a product) in close contact with the Production Manager.
